Meet Dr. Messing
Dr. Messing has been practicing in the specialty of dermatology for 20 years. She began as a board certified physician in family medicine and has maintained her board certification in that specialty. Immediately following that training and certification, she studied and practiced under several board certified dermatologists in the greater Lansing area. In addition, Dr. Messing has completed fellowship training in dermatology through the ExpertDerm fellowship by AVOZA, a program overseen by a board certified dermatologist.
With a strong, up to date foundation in general medicine, coupled with years of specialized training and clinical practice in dermatology, Dr. Messing provides her patients a complete, comprehensive approach to managing/ treating their skin concerns. She sees patients of all ages from newborn to centenarians.
Our Specialty
Our office focuses on medical dermatology. Dr. Messing treats many skin conditions as well as skin cancers including, but not limited to: non-melanoma skin cancer, melanoma skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne (all ages), lichen sclerosus, and much more.
Her approach to patient care is all inclusive and she accepts many insurances.
We are proud to offer the non-surgical, gold-standard treatment for nonmelanoma skin cancer
Dr. Messing offers Image Guided Superficial Radiation Treatment (IGSRT) to treat squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. This is a non-invasive/NON SURGICAL alternative to MOHS surgery with a 99% cancer cure rate. Please see this link for more information on this treatment option.
